“The space is absolutely precious! Even though it’s small it feels very spacious! The owners really thought of everything - they had all the amenities I needed for a few days. The outdoor area is so cozy and the firewood was already stacked for me in the fire pit which was great for me to get it started quickly, before it got cold! The property is well lit but not too bright. I chose this location for stargazing and it was perfect! It was nice to walk around the property a bit and see the deer……

“This was a great stay for our extended family to unwind and enjoy time on the river. The breezeway table was a really standout for us - every meal was had there. River access on the property was perfect. The town of Castell is very small, so pack all you might need in terms of grocery items. ”

“We just had a wonderful weekend stay at the El Castell Cabins with our close friends. The location was great - we had big plans to go into Mason, but the cabins were so great that we never left except to walk across the street to the Castell General Store for dinner & drinks. The cabins were clean, comfortable and had all the necessities plus extras (games, yoga mats, etc). But honestly we spent 99% of our time on the beautiful breezeway connecting cabins D and C - it was a hot weekend but the……

“I stayed here with my husband, daughter, and parents. The home is cozy and had everything we needed to cook our own meals and sleep comfortably during our trip. We made good use of the rowboat (and appreciated all the life vests available), and we loved relaxing in the hammock under the deck. The absolute highlight of this property is the view.
