“Wonderful! Not sure how anyone could give a bad review. Incredibly friendly staff, welcoming to my pup, beautiful location and view. Quiet and peaceful. I didn’t try the restaurant downstairs but it was packed and it’s off season. Comfy bed, huge bathroom and great shower. The only thing I would say is the third floor has very narrow stairs that would be hard for folks with mobility issues. Also it was a little weird to have to walk through a restaurant to go to your room but doubt it would be……

“the "pre-packaged" Breakfast was "convenient" but really the kind of breakfast available in a convenience store at a petrol station. “Beautiful and very clean home! We enjoyed being able to walk to dinner and breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.”

“We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. ”
