“Huge room at a great price during a weekday. Heater kicked off within seconds, so check yours out quickly. Plenty of free parking available. We are not gamblers, so didn't even visit the casino, but did make the 5 minute drive into downtown. I would not hesitate to stay here again”

“This is a gorgeous B & B to stay in. Amy the registration gal is the best. She makes you feel like your a welcome family member. Bar is quaint and bartender Cody is fun. Breakfast is small portioned but good quiche. No choice, just brought out to you. Location is great and decor is perfect for home. Had diner there and it was ok.( Filet/shrimp) The best was the bread! Try a red dragon at the bar they will get you hooked. Also Amy gives a lovey historical tour of the place after breakfast. “We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”
