“Beautiful property. Loved seeing all the wild life”

“We had one night at The Farmhouse Inn, and we would have loved to stay longer. The garden is beautiful, the air is fresh and it is so quiet as it is a few km from the main road. Even though it is nothing fancy, the beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The evening before we were asked what we wanted for breakfast the following day, and it is my impression that they can cook all the basic breakfast dishes that you need. Would definitely recommend and come back another time.”

“The Izaak Walton is just an amazing hotel and a great place to stay you get a very warm welcoming from the front desk staff and all the other hotel staff members too, they all make you feel at home too, the rooms are excellent very clean and spacious great WiFi service too, and the beds are so comfortable. The hotel is set in woodland and has a relaxing setting and calming, the restaurant is brilliant, great buffet breakfast too and a good choice menu for lunch and dinner there's always a……

“Booked weeks ahead and requested adjacent rooms for family of four, never got them. Bad start. Dinner - 50mins wait, too long, food was good at least. Breakfast good but no bacon and decent coffee is extra. No fridge or milk for coffee/tea. Two tea bags per room for 3 nights. Big problems with hot water and power. Son very annoyed. And crook wifi. Great view of the Mt, friendly manager and staff, safe and secure. ”

“This property is nothing like the description or photos on Expedia. When challenged at check in the properties management stated that the descriptions were those of Expedia not of their own!! This is a One Star property charging Four Star prices probably due to local demand! The rooms smelt musty and were not attractive at all.
