“Loved the room. Right on the beach. Great price. Beach is awesome and quiet. Not super crowded. ”

“This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs……

“Whalers Cove Oceanfront Resort is top notch! We could not have asked for more…ocean views right from our living room, the sound of crashing waves to lull you to sleep each night, steps away from the heated pool and hot tub overlooking the Pacific and a beautiful, grassy lawn overlooking the ocean just perfect for whale, sea turtle and dolphin watching. Our unit was spacious with an open kitchen, dining and living room. Large bathrooms with walk in showers and double sinks, a huge walk in……

“The property was as described on the beautiful! We could easily walk to both pool areas, Shipwreck beach and Poipu beach. The only things to be aware of is that there is no A/C in the main living areas, only the bedrooms. It was fine except when you went out for the day and came back to only the fans running. Also, there is not a queen size pullout couch as indicated in the pictures. It is a queen blow up mattress. Againqueen size pullout ”

“We stayed at Castle Po’ipū Shores and, while the location is absolutely unreal, the unit itself felt pretty dated. Lots of rusty fixtures, and some of the room amenities were subpar—think “bring-your-own-screwdriver” energy. That said, it’s hard to be too mad when you’re watching sea turtles and sunsets from your lanai. Let’s be real: no one flies to Hawaii to hang out in their room. If you’re coming for the beaches, scenery, and proximity to all things Kaua’i, this place delivers. But if……
