“Giving this 3-star hotel 5 stars because it is just right for a resting stop on a quick overnight trip. Very clean, great staff..the sauna in the shower was super relaxing. Great budget friendly choice. It’s not first class but if a simple place is what you’re looking for, this is it. ”

“Dowds' Country Inn was beautiful and picturesque, and charming in that way that only old buildings can be. The sign was very difficult to read at night, but once we found the place, we loved it. Just beyond the inn parking lot you could see a beautiful herb and vegetable garden. The entryway was beautiful and inviting. My partner and I entered the lobby and found it warmly lit, with a sign expressing regrets that no one could be there to greet us (we were arriving late at night). On the front……

“Room was quaint, had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. The breakfast voucher was a nice plus, food was good. The best part was the outdoor seating amongst the beautiful gardens. A wonderful evening atmosphere and we actually had many conversations with other diners sitting around us. Everyone seemed festive in this fabulous atmosphere. ”
