“Three Trails was so cute. I loved the exposed brick walls, wooden floors and the wood beam ceilings. The beds were very comfortable! I would recommend so WD40 on the doors, they were very loud and squeaky if you had to get up in the middle of the night for the bathroom. The apartment kitchen is very well stocked. We loved finishing the evenings on the rooftop patio. The parking was very easy and everything is walkable in downtown Elkin, we didnt have to drive anywhere, the vine line picked us up……

“We love the cabin and would definitely stay there again. It’s easy to find with GPS and the area is quiet. It is within a reasonable distance from Boone and other attractions. ”

“The owners do stay upstairs. Think it is good to make sure that the places taken care of better. There's a motherly feel with the property. Like somebody really was trying to take care of you making sure everything you need is there. Call the little things like extra things in the bathroom and kitchen even a really nice big TV. And it's very safe driving up the road to the cabin. I had a problem with another place I have a leave early cuz I could not drive up there so dangerous. It's actually……

“This is beautiful home with great amenities. Comfortable beds, nice linens, a well appointed kitchen. When the ad warns that you need an AWD or 4WD vehicle, pay close attention. The driveway is very steep and when we were there it was difficult getting in & out due to heavy rain. If you have the correct vehicle, or you don’t mind walking down the hill with your things, this is a wonderful place to stay. Manager was very responsive & helpful. ”
