“The environment was a very relaxed atmosphere. Had some issues with maintaining my original check in time due to Airport issues, but the staff were very friendly, understanding and accommodating, which helped me feel at ease, and made my stay much better.”

“This is a great hotel for families or anyone who wants to explore DC. The hotel is located on a beautiful campus, walking distance to Union Market and they provide a shuttle to Union Station, very convenient. The staff is exceptional and so helpful! So warm and welcoming. They go above and beyond. The room was very clean and comfortable. Loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again! ”

“This interestingly titled listing is certainly an affordable home option (surprised to see it on Hotels.com - property is maintained by Evolve and it is nowhere mentioned in the listing), conveniently located in the city. However, it is not recommended and not suitable for business trips. I stayed here with two colleagues during a recent business trip. The home itself is spacious, with a large living area, a patio, a nice pool table, and plenty of open parking. That said, we encountered two……

“I’m not sure how to rate this, as I didn’t actually stay there. When we pulled up to the property, my Uber driver expressed reservations about leaving me there and ultimately said he just couldn’t do it. He said the area was incredibly unsafe and then drove me the half hour back to city center free of charge. When I reached out to the owner and express that has a woman traveling on my own, I was too scared to stay there, Asking if I could at least get a discount. He was very curt and unhelpful.……

“This home has been beautifully restored and is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. An easy walk to the Union Market area and a Whole Foods store. A comfortable walk to the Capitol and just a few blocks from a Metro station. Rene is a great host, very responsive and accommodating.”
