“I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, it was not the usual cookie-cutter image I had in my mind. I had a queen suite, it was spacious, clean, and contemporary. The shower was fantastic! It was large and quiet, unlike so many chain hotel showers that could wake the dead with their banging and moaning. “Stayed here for a night on a road trip and I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Beautiful area, very homey and welcoming atmosphere, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious homemade quiche, along with other continental choices. Heidi was the inn keeper during my stay and she was an excellent hostess. Would stay again!”

“We loved our stay and plan on returning in the future for a longer stay so we can experience more. It was about the same cost as a hotel stay, but with more of a home feel and a lot more room. I also enjoyed the view of the lake from our front porch. If I could suggeat one little change, maybe open the gym a little earlier than 9am, but that's all.”

“Lovely boutique hotel in an older well decorated home. always stay here when in Culpeper ”

“We rented this house for a trip with three different families. With six adults and 4 kids, we had plenty of room and lots to keep everyone busy and happy. The house is well stocked with everything we could need and the owner was very communicative throughout our entire stay. The location was also great, right on the water but with lots of privacy. It would be really fun in the summertime. I highly recommend!”

“This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. “We loved it. Didn’t end up staying in the Vintage RV, apparently it was OOO and therefore we were upgraded to a Cabin. Which was spacious, cozy and very home like. In walking distance from the pool and lake. Would definitely like to come back.”
