“I loved that we got to stay in a whole colonial, well-appointed, immaculate house by ourselves. I loved the staff, that went out of its way. The grounds are beautiful, as are the accommodations. I didn't like my breakfast, a "sandwich" made from a croissant, some flavorless cheese, a fried egg and overcooked, very salty bacon. No garnishes. Croissant was second-rate. Should have had tomato or greenery. Caused us to cancel our dinner reservation. Other than that, the staff was amazing,……

“This property is absolutely lovely. I stayed for a wedding near a local vineyard & got in really late from my flight. Accessing the room was easy & it was very clean. The property owners were great & extremely friendly (despite my small interaction due to wedding things) i would stay here again just for the coziness of it all. ”

“Hospitality was EXCEPTIONAL. LOVE that they're pet friendly. Walking trails right on the property where i could walk the dogs. “This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,……

“Fun and historic B&B with very lovely owner/hosts. Pam and William are a delight and the home is comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast served daily with coffee and tea all day. Great places to curl up with a book or, enjoy the outdoor seating. Very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, If you're interested, William will be happy to show you around and share some history of the house. Great visit! ”
