“This was a unique getaway. We love off things normal path. This was one of the good ones. Also quick access to downtown Blowing Rock. A great place to relax. ”

“We enjoyed a very restful visit. Friendly staff, our room was well appointed with very comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor seating area for relaxing, enjoying lemonade and popcorn during the afternoon and coffee during the morning. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowers. This is definitely our go to place when we visit beautiful Blowing Rock. ”

“Being a senior citizen I really like having a walk-in shower. Less chance of fall than with a tub shower. Rooms always clean and roomy. Being a senior citizen it would be nice if hotels had comfort height commodes.”

“Perfect little place to stay for a weekend trip. Had everything you could need in all the rooms and bathrooms. Side note we noticed the fans are synced to each other, the one in the main bathroom and the living room is synced together and the other two bedrooms are synced together. No complaints at all. Definitely a place we will stay again. ”

“We had a great stay in the mountain house with a beautiful view! The house was very clean and had many modern upgrades. It was perfect for two families traveling together because it had three bedrooms and one room had 4 bunk beds for all the kids!”

“This is beautiful home with great amenities. Comfortable beds, nice linens, a well appointed kitchen. When the ad warns that you need an AWD or 4WD vehicle, pay close attention. The driveway is very steep and when we were there it was difficult getting in & out due to heavy rain. If you have the correct vehicle, or you don’t mind walking down the hill with your things, this is a wonderful place to stay. Manager was very responsive & helpful. ”
