“Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. The owners were incredibly friendly, sorted out some last minute euros for us and booked probably the best taxi service we’ve ever had! All the good reviews were spot on. ”

Georgia was always willing to help with any enquiries about local attractions, car rental etc. The hotel rooms are well equipped and have a traditional feel to them. The hotel is well located for the beach, restaurants and the acropolis. Great breakfast with perfect view of the med. Thank you Hotel Melenos!”

“This was a great hotel! The staff are very polite and helpful. The resort is so incredibly clean and well maintained. It’s part of three hotels to make a resort which means you have access to four pools and an on-site shop. The main town strip is a short walk away where you can also get transport to other parts of the island. The room itself was massive, aircon included, large balcony, fridge with water, small kitchen and extra blankets and pillows. Slept incredibly well with how quiet it was.……

“The hotel itself was a bit outdated, the elevator was very small, and the beds weren’t the most comfortable BUT that staff was really friendly which I appreciated. There’s a small market connected to the hotel which was convenient and as soon as you walk out of the hotel you’re at the beach and close to several restaurants. The hotel is located in bar road basically which we didn’t mind but if you don’t like noise then don’t stay here. ”
