“My wife and I stayed for 7 days. 10/10- would recommend to a friend- will be back! Our hosts, Trish & Chris, were absolutely stellar. They are both kind, friendly, knowledgeable, salt of the Earth people, and excellent cooks! The breakfasts were customized to our needs and desires and were scrumptious! The setting is divine- so quiet, surrounded by nature, and truly beautiful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was, however, no in-room mini fridge! Having travelled extensively across 5……

“The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. ”

“First time I have stayed here. A real find. A bit quirky but overall excellent. Rooms come with fridge which vontained some fresh smoked salmon and Brie plus ol and water. Also breakfast is a very good DIY with granola and yogurts provided plus croissants and French pastries, jams etc. Also the hotel has a brilliant restaurant which you have to book as the locals know about it too. The car park can be a little tight and the stairs no lift would challenge the infirm. Overall a fabulous good value……

“Friendly staff, great breakfast, I loved that we had a choice of full Irish, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or pancakes. The room was really large, bed was good and comfy. We could not get the heating to work, but kept the window closed to keep the room warmer. Shower pressure was not great, but adequate.”

“Booked the wrong dates and asked staright away for a refund but that wasnt a possibility even tho it was a mistake and enough time to post it up for rent again ”

“The view and the landscape are marvellous. The kitchen equipment was good. The open fireplace was very difficult to heat. The house is unique. The distance from the door to the toilet is customised and only suitable for slim people ;-) We will be back.”
