“The facility itself was nice; clean, updated and comfortable. Our room was right next to what is probably the busiest intersection in Sonora. So, it was louder in the room than usual. The great part is that the AC unit was kind of loud so it drowned out the traffic noise. So,…there’s that. They have a real parking issue. “The full kitchen was terrific and had everything you would also have in your own home kitchen, and it saved us a ton of money from having to eat out. Our unit had every possible amenity you would need for a very comfortable stay. The staff was always professional and easy to deal with. The rooms were large and well appointed. Plenty of charging stations, comfortable bed and chairs and couch. Great pool and fitness center. We are already planning our next stay - only longer this time for there……

“The home is beautifully decorated. Each room has its own ac, making it comfortable for those with different temperature preferences. The host is very accommodating and makes an effort to keep up with the guests about any updates. I did suggest that he add an extra plug for hair tool accessories in the half bath and he immediately started planning how to support that small convenience. My only concern was actually an issue with hotels.com and not the property itself. The property price is based……

“The property is quaint and charming with a super friendly staff. Breakfast is made to order with a smile. My only critique: my partner and I are both 6 feet tall and we unfortunately booked a room at the top with a downward sloping ceiling at multiple places. “We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages.
