“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. “The hotel room was great – very comfortable and clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was generous and tasty, especially the waffles, which were delicious! Breakfast was served a bit early for vacationers who enjoy sleeping in, but everything else was truly excellent. The town itself was also wonderful. All in all, a perfect stay! ”
