“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,……

“We enjoyed this property so much and of course the pool!!! We spent all day in the pool and you could just walk right in. We had the house and pool house. Wish there was a microwave in the pool house and the beds were at least queen size. (they are all full size). This isnt even a complaint, but all the rugs throughout both houses need a non-slip grip under them. We were all slipping and sliding during our stay. We almost all fell a few times. We should have just rolled them all up to move them……

“I can’t say enough about what a wonderful place this is. We felt instantly at home. We spent a week here with our adult children, so the layout of the home was perfect. The primary suite on the main level with two generously sized bedrooms with king size beds and a very beautiful bathroom on the top floor. Even our dog was very comfortable in the space. The morning sunrise also did not disappoint. The kitchen had plenty of cookware available to use which was great since we took advantage of the……
