“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. We didn't plan for tennis, but the hosts are both ex pros; so if tennis is your thing,……

“We enjoyed this property so much and of course the pool!!! We spent all day in the pool and you could just walk right in. We had the house and pool house. Wish there was a microwave in the pool house and the beds were at least queen size. (they are all full size). This isnt even a complaint, but all the rugs throughout both houses need a non-slip grip under them. We were all slipping and sliding during our stay. We almost all fell a few times. We should have just rolled them all up to move them……

“This house is perfect for a weekend getaway. Wine tasting, hiking, antique stores, historical areas. Highly recommend, as this house was super clean, cozy, and just a couple blocks from the main drag through Murphys. ”

“I love how sparkling clean this place is. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, but walkable to main st. It’s a bit of a walk though so if the weather isn’t cooperating that’s a bit hard”
