“First off , let me say the 4 stars is for the "Select" area of this hotel, which is where I stayed. The rest of the property is (maybe) a 3. This is obviously an old property that has seen some renovation, but could use more. The ocean behind the hotel (there's a small private beach) is very rough. Do NOT attempt to go in past waist-deep unless you are a good swimmer. Pool area was nice, but could use more activities ( a little dead). Food quality at the buffet was "meh". The a la carte……

“We were extremely impressed with the hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was extremely friendly. We encountered 4 days of non stop rain so we did not venture out to eat anywhere else and the food at the hotel was consistently great. We did ziplining and went to the monkey jungle, which completed our trip! We would go back in a heartbeat!! ”
