“The Lil House is a nice, cozy spot for a couple to unwind and enjoy the nearby mountains and what the general area has to offer. I enjoyed the slightly rustic and mountainous themed decor. Lots of little lamps; very good interior lighting. Cabin is very easy to get to with two driveway entrances, however parking is a bit tight. Only one roll of toilet paper, but we managed. Some people will not like the sulfur smell the water currently has; most noticeable during showers. It’s really not that……

“I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They provided so much helpful information on local places to visit for after our hike. The communal glamping bathroom was the……

“We stayed here while we were visiting the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. We arrived in the evening, after check-in time, so they left an envelope at the door with all the information to access our room. Everything was perfect and breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday mornings was amazing. We loved it.”

“I'd rate this 4 1/2 stars-- a great place to get away in the mountains and with beautiful views, but must keep in mind that you are getting a mountain cabin so without some of the luxuries. The good: a view to kill for, and with the sun and clouds turning it into constantly changing panorama; 15 minutes from hiking; very clean and comfortable; two very comfortable queen beds. “This cabin was amazing! The bed was comfy. Lots of room in the cabin with nice little touches. Especially loved the fairy box! Cabin is at the end of a dirt road and is very peaceful, and close to neighboring towns for groceries and dining, as well as the tail of the dragon. Host is very responsive and friendly. Would defining stay again!! ”
