“The Monarch is an affordable hotel located right in the heart of Oldtown. The main pool/hot tub area is lovely with lush greenery and a lively outdoor bar on site. The guest rooms were clean and functional, but a bit outdated. The wall mounted TV was very small & looked like a computer monitor. The outdoor balcony was a nice feature, but an awkward shape...not enough space for patio furniture (or even a chair to sit down). So guests can only stand up on the balcony to enjoy the view.”

“This is a very cute spot to stay and relax with family or friends. Close to old town, walking distance to most. Bicycles to use, spa offers high quality massages, and pool with bar makes you feel like you are on a resort but the atmosphere is small and quaint. The lobby and bar has a cuban feel with natural surroundings. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway!”

“The property is huge and so beautiful! The landscaping is out of this world. Loved the restaurants on site and the views of the city from the restaurants. There were also se several different locations for great views of the city/mountains. Once you check in, a bell hop will take your bags and give you a ride to your room and you can call the front desk for this service any time you want to explore the property.
