“Unfortunately I stayed at the Royal Sonesta for only one night -- and it was the night a tornado hit very close by (as in across the street). Given that there was a major weather emergency for St Louis to dig out of the Royal Sonesta was AMAZING. All of the restaurants were open and busy, the staff as 100% perfect, there was a huge prom going on in one of the function rooms, and my room was beautiful and quiet when I was ready to sleep. “This is a sturdy, safe hotel. We went through a tornado durimg our stay. All arlund us l, there wasn't any power but the Cheshire stood out with power and security. ”
