Lorraine is such a wonderful host, always helping with any information we need and goes out of her way to help me with storing my luggage before checkin and after checkout.The location is fantastic, just next to the Town centre and bus stops. “Beautiful scenic location. Hotel condition and all furnishing as new. Room extremely comfortable. Staff impeccable, not to be faulted. Food superb. Bar prices high. Lounge a bit bright…. Need table lamps rather than ceiling lights to give better ambience. Overall excellent.”

“We thought the hosts were really lovely and the location of the guesthouse was ideal for us for walking. There are two pubs within walking distance which serve fantastic food: Coledale inn and Royal Oak. However, we had a downstairs room and seemed to have been really unlucky with the guests upstairs who woke us up every hour during the night. Thankfully, we were only staying a couple of nights as we were absolutely exhausted by the end. Would recommend a stay, just maybe ask for an upstairs……

“Maple Bank is a gem of a place. Super location literally 100 yards from a bus stop, which has an hourly bus right through to midnight, with a £2 fare cap! We chose to walk in to Keswick one morning which took about 50 minutes. Check-in was great and informative, outlining options for breakfast for vegetarian & vegan choices. Breakfast was superb with quality ingredients. All freshly made. Room was perfectly equipped and had everything you could need. Great range of local toiletries. Highly……
