“Overall, we had a wonderful stay. This is a lovely resort that has been tastefully renovated recently. Special shout out to Carlton in the restaurant, who made our stay extra enjoyable! A few things that could use a little attention: 1. The fire pits were working only sporadically; 2. Lack of ventilation/HVAC in the hallways makes for very warm and stuffy spaces; 3. The floor in our room could have used a daily mopping. I’d also strongly suggest looking over your final bill very……

“The AC in our room leaked but it was fixed. Two elevators out of three did not work for some time, unfortunately it was during the check out time on Sunday so many people we in distress. We were not checking out on that day but it was difficult to get from 10th floor to the main floor. The elevators worked later in the day. Everything else was nice. The lady in the spa could change her attitude. She was very unpleasant. ”

“We stop here annually on our drive back to Ohio from Sarasota. If you like quaint charm, this is the place. They have nice touches like wine & cheese in late afternoon & cookies in the evening. Location is perfect! You can walk to the restaurants & shops.”
