“This was not my first choice for a hotel in Bansko, but I'm so glad that I chose this. It had everything. You can see mountains everywhere, it has plenty of space where to park, staff are friendly, service is amazing, food was good, fair price. All in all, pretty good experience. ”

“We have stayed at this hotel two years in a row. The hotel is well located for access to the Gondola. The rooms are clean, albeit a little dated. The spa is an added bonus after a day on the slopes and the included breakfast is good. ”

“The Hotel Elegant Lux is in a great location just a few minutes from the ski gondola and the many bars and restaurants around town. It has a shuttle bus to and from the gondola. We stayed for five nights. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had half board and the breakfasts and dinners were good with a buffet for both. “We (three adults) stayed in a two-storey mezzanine room and it was the perfect accommodation for our ski holiday. There was plenty of space both upstairs and downstairs with a sofa that pulled into a sofa bed, bathroom, a separate toilet and wardrobes downstairs and upstairs too. We had a balcony with amazing views of the mountains. The decor of the room and whole hotel is lovely, very cozy and feels very ski-esk. Breakfast was included too which includes cold and hot food. “A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced.”

“We have stayed here many times in the past 8 years and this was the worst stay. The inside pool was under construction, the one outside pool was also under construction. Terrible roof over the other outside pool. The fridge in our room was filthy and unusable. The balcony/terrace outside our room was also filthy-bird feathers and bird poo everywhere. When we laid our towels outside, came back to them and they had lots of bird poo on them. Food was ok, our waitress Kate, was lovely. Reception……
