“Wife and I came for a wedding and stayed here after for a few days in Vermont. The Essex Resort was a great home base for our travel, it felt so peaceful and the staff was beyond friendly. We felt taken care of during a time we wanted rest. We ate at Lazy Goat Tavern, walked the resort, and enjoyed the hot tub in our room (not all rooms have this).”

“We had a wonderful, three night stay at Sinclair. Holly and Kyle were terrific hosts. The breakfast was just amazing each day, with every offering fresh, locally sourced and delightful! They also had a covered tray of baked goods available to the guest in the front of the house each day. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was a bit firm, so if that is your preference, you will absolutely love every moment of your stay here. We look forward to returning on our next visit to……

“Loved our stay here, close to everything and we even got a little fishing in on our trip. Only negative is that since I am allergic to dogs and with them being as pet friendly as they are (I didn't see this when booking), I had some issues with my face swelling after sleeping in the bed. Some of the carpets also smelled like animal urine... but other than that, we absolutely loved it here. ”
