The hotel had convenient FREE parking on site, rooms had all the amenities you needed and was in walking distance to the main shopping areas. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. ”

“Taking a short break in Mayo, following a wedding. Wonderful peaceful location, superb Irish breakfast. Friendly, charming, helpful and informative host. Wifi available, but no TV in room which didn't worry us in the slightest - just encouraged us to switch off. Easy reach of Westport and Newport, but extensive roadworks and contraflow on the road into Westport were a minor inconvenience. Finding a table at a restaurant for dinner locally can be challenging notwithstanding plethora of……

Fantastic coastal views from the kitchen & main living room areas. Local taxi-service organised at short notice when required. Could not recommend highly enough.”
