“A lovely old inn currently having some renovation work done, and the outside being painted Hence 4 stars for part of my review. It is in a beautiful location with stunning views all around. The staff are friendly and the place is spotless. The breakfasts are excellent and there is a good menu for evening meal choices. We really enjoyed our stay . ”

It was my husband’s birthday and we were upgraded to a superior room and surprised with a birthday card and ballon’s. Very thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious with a very good choice. “Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……
