“It was an excellent place to stay. The bed was warm and comfortable. All the amenities included an A/C, heater, safe, etc. Incredible South African hospitality. Great breakfast in the morning with incredible tasting Omelette made to your preference. The property is nice, with a beautiful garden. Did I mention the great hospitality? They are the best host of people. Cudos to the Owner, Chris, and the manager, Allison. My stay at Highgrove made the trip to South Africa more enjoyable. ”

Biggest complaint: room door has a light directly in front of it that does not turn off. And no blind to cover the window. Was extremely bright at night. Second night a staff member removed the bulbs which was appreciated ”

“This is a great, safe, clean property that is close to the airport. There is not much going on around the hotel. Free shuttle to and from the airport every 30 min. The rooms are big and so are the bathrooms. The hotel has a nice breakfast and we had dinner there as well.”
