“Very basic but squeaky clean convent. Limited housekeeping but within acceptable limits. Staff are dedicated, helpful and professional. The premises are a mixture of basic and awesome, the roof terrace is a joy as are the gardens and the two reading rooms, the upper one is more like a state audience hall. Great place to spend a rainy day. The price proposition is unbelievable and the location could not be better despite the small size of the town.”

“Wir waren für einen Zwischenstop hier und dafür ist das Hotel perfekt. Es ist sauber, das Personal ist freundlich und auch die Auswahl beim Frühstück war für Ausländer in Italien sehr gut. Es gab nicht nur Süßkram. Das Hotel wirkt zwar älter, ist aber gepflegt, die Anlage ist schön und sieht nicht wie ein Autobahnhotel aus. In der Nähe gibt es Sehenswürdigkeiten, z.B. den Monsterpark in Bomarzo.”

“The property was beautiful, but in a very, very small village, so nothing to do here except a country road walk. The town of Trevi was a very close drive and a much nicer town than the super touristy ones nearby like Spello. I guess my big disappointment was that the hotel was almost empty. “Villa Pambufetti is in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the walls of Montefalco so very easy to walk into the village for dinner. If, like us, an air conditioned room is essential then I suggest you call the hotel prior to your visit to make sure it is working. We booked a superior room for 2 nights but the ac wasn’t working and when we asked to move room we were told there wasn’t any air conditioning in the hotel.
