“There is no air con and the window cannot be opened. There is no curtain near the bath tub. No staff come to clean up after 11 am. Breakfast which costs 12.5 pounds but very few choices . Small hotel not quite the same as in the advertisement. ”

“The hotel is steeped in history. It is warm and charming, the woodwork in the lobby and restaurant transport you to another time. The staff was absolutely lovely. We ate several meals there and everything was delicious. 5 stars!”

“Helpful and friendly staff. Incredible dinner (fish pie). Cute room. Although road is right there it got quiet enough in the evening to sleep with open window. Nice walk along the river. ”
