“Wunderschönes Hotel mit modernen und zugleich traditionellen Zimmern. Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Einzig die Kaffeemaschine müsste mal ersetzt werden. Der Service im Hotel war sehr zuvorkommend. In der Löwenstube grundsätzlich auch, allerdings gab es eine Dame, welche nicht sonderlich freundlich war. Alles in allem ein schönes Hotel, dass wir empfehlen, wobei aber das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für uns nicht ganz stimmt. Auch für schweizerische Verhältnisse und Standards sind die……

“Die Linde ist ein sehr gut geführtes, charmantes Appenzeller Hotel (und Restaurant). Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr ganz neu, aber gut unterhalten und mit vielen schönen Details. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und das Frühstück war sehr lecker.”

“The location is great, only minutes from the train station, where you can also find the coop supermarket in the complex. It's off the main street so the traffic won't bother your rest. A sign showing the entrance, which looks no difference from other office building, would definitely help. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room are spacious and tidy and you can make yourself a coffee with the nespresso machine. The breakfast is good.”
