“A pleasant family run hotel right on the beach in Agia Roumeli. The family is so kind and friendly — made the stay extra enjoyable. The hotel dinner and breakfast were both very good and set on a terrace overlooking the beach. Really loved our stay there. ”

“The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns. Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain! The hotel could be somewhat more clear on what is included etc. The hotel is amazing so don’t let that put you off but we were told the tourist charge was €10 euro per room, per night, which is correct but we were also……

“Great place to stay to visit the area. We only stayed one night so we could visit the Samaria Gorge but wish we'd have been staying longer! The rooms have everything you need and the staff were very welcoming. The food was very tasty and we even went back for an evening meal after the Gorge!! The free transfers to the gorge are also really good. Definitely deserves more than 2 stars!!”

“Perhaps the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The views were breathtaking and location was perfect— close to Sougia and Samaria Gorge where we had a beautiful day of hiking. Very romantic for our honeymoon and the staff were beyond kind, generous, and helpful. It was a perfect stay with so much beauty that we will never forget! Highly recommended!!”

“To say that our stay here was excellent is truly an understatement. Crete was more than I could have ever dreamed of, and this hotel played a huge part in that. The drive to the hotel is definitely not the easiest drive, but it is so worth it (very windy road up and down the mountain, it is all paved and there are guardrails but very little light at night). Being in the mountains and away from the city was so quiet and relaxing and the town in the area felt so authentic and non-touristy, it was……

“Had an amazing stay here over the last 5 nights, whole Property was immaculate and you can see the care the family put into running it. Great location only 5 minute walk from town centre and 5/10 to The beach. Plenty of tavernas and shops close by again within 5/10 minutes. Property is underrated and for what we paid it was above our expectations and underrated. During the day most other guests went to the beach meaning that we had use of the pool to ourselves and loved it. Would book again in a……
