“It was a great hotel close to Balos and Elafonissi beaches. The hotel was really clean, but there was some funky smell close to our room when we opened the door. The pool was nice and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The waves were a little harsh, but really great. ”

“Our stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. The breakfast choice and quality was probably the best we’ve ever experienced. The pool was great with that brilliant view and plenty of chairs and sunbeds to choose from. All the staff were so friendly and good……

“I felt like I died and went to heaven. This resort was the perfect ending to our time on Crete. The staff were abundant and went above and beyond. There was always an option and abundance of food and premium drinks available. I would highly recommend. Excellent resort for families with children and teens.”

“This is my second time at the villa. My family love the food, staff, and the area.Just all around top notch service anf facilities. ”

“100 percent will return. The owners Argriris and his brother were unbelievably welcoming, proper Greek welcome. Sitting on the roof in the jacuzzi was great, especially at sun set. If you asked how to get around or had some other issues, if they didn't know, they would find out for you asap. All the staff were brilliant. Room was great, all the furniture seemed brand new, in the main room. Bathroom seems a bit outdated but that Greece. Family restaurants next door at decent prices. Mini marts……

“Fatastische Aussicht. Tolle Zimmer, super Frühstück. Auch der Pool ist groß und generell ist es eine sehr großzügige Anlage mit vielen kleinen, gemütlichen Sitzecken. Kleines Minus: sehr dünne Wände sodass ich mal einen Nachbar auf Toilette sitzen gehört hab 😬”

“If you’re looking for busy and noisy with lots to do this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for quiet, relaxed, lazy pool days then look no further. Staff are amazing from reception to pool bar nothing too much trouble. Food is good with a la carte option at additional cost if you want it. Will definitely return”

“Stayed for a week in September-October. Good solid breakfast, and plenty if restaurants ro choose feom in the neighborhood. Beach access with dedicated shades and sunbeds. Swimup pool convenient but not heated - colder than the ocean.”

“Hotel was secluded away centers of activity, restaurants, shops etc. That suited us. Booked private pool area which was great. Some entertainment at night - good. Staff provided some classes during the day such as Olive tasting, really good. Some light exercise classes during the day. Variety of food - excellent. All staff very helpful and friendly. Used hotel taxi a few times. Same man very helpful & loads of local information.”

“From the moment we arrived Elanora welcomed us with open arms...nothing was a problem for any if tye sraff and any requests we had were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. A big shout out to Akis & Sophia who were always smiling and engaged in stimulating conversations about our 2 countries.”
