“Good location, walkable distance to restaurants and city center. Limited parking could be a problem for late check ins. Door codes were convenient, easy check in and entry. Shared kitchen was fully equipped. Spacious room but there was a stain in the ceiling which could be potentially a leak upstairs, hopefully they will fix it. The shower was a bit small, the curtain wraps around you when it gets wet. Plastic shower curtain might be a better fit. Good stay in general, spacious room. Laundry……

“We loved our stay. The room was bright and clean and we had a great view of the mountains in the back and of the farm animals. Elisabeth was a great host and the breakfast provided was so good. We enjoyed our chats with Elisabeth. I would highly recommend the guesthouse!”

“It was amazing! If you love the solitude that‘s the place to stay. We had a clear night without any wind and the sky was full of northern lights. And the best part, no other people around (well, except the hosts, horses, chicken and ducks from the lake in front of our little cottage). Only 20 min away from Godafoss, or 25 min away from Húsavík. Definitely recommend this one! The host was very nice and welcomed us warmly. ”

“Everything is fair as this is located at the countryside so you cant expect a lot. The walls are thin so we heard noise from other guests checking in late at night and talking loud when we fell asleep.”
