“quite a long walk from train station ( 1 km) no taxis! but pretty well the closest. bar is also reception (which was great as I was desperate for a beer after bus substituted for train! efficient small lift, comfortable room with large comfy bed & plenty of electric plugs. quiet in room despite it being a Saturday, although restaurant full with waiting list. great well priced Italian meal (despite being promoted as Sushi - which was available -after a fashion)! slept well. “We spent 4 nights here and had the breakfast on one occasion. The hotel is perfectly situated between Lenno and Tremezzo ferry stops and has a pizza takeaway, restaurant and a convenience shop within a 5 min walk- in addition to the on site restaurant and bar. The hotel breakfast was worth the €10 pp as there was fresh fruit options, snacks and biscuits, pastry, toast and meats and cheese as well as juices and coffee. “Great location and a sweet small hotel. The hotel reception is in the cafe so there isn't much space or room for luggage. Our room was spotless and had an incredible lake view and the pool views were spectacular. The hairdryer needed replacing - outdated for 2025!”

“I am nostalgic for Casa Pasini Foresteria! The hosts are so warm and friendly, the rooms are elegant, comfortable, charming, clean. Tucked in the hillside of Piuro, near Chiavenna, with a beautiful view. Breakfast is a delicious - cappuccino, tea, local pastries and breads, jams, honey, yogurt, fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice. Perfection! ”
