“Best apartment in the area! Stunning views surrounded by amazing waterfalls, breathtaking mountains and gorgeous goats. Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight”

“Communication with the property manager was very timely and the check in instructions were easy to follow and allowed easy entry when we arrived late in the evening. The managers made a point to meet with us in person the next day to answer any questions. The location is PERFECT, right by the trains and gondolas. The home was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Grindelwald!!!”

“The view from our balcony was amazing! Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was a great advantage to being able to stay on budget and enjoy relaxing while traveling. “Thankfully this wasn’t my first trip to Saas-Fee or I’d never go back… I’ve been going for more than 10 years and we have a place in the village but needed somewhere bigger to accommodate family. Topline… the place is well past its sell by date and the interaction with the hosts - Saas Holidays - wasn’t great. “Great accommodation for families (we were 3 adults and 3 teenagers) -- location is a short walk / bus ride to Grindelwald, home is modern, clean and well-equipped, and views from the patio are amazing! Highly recommend!”

“Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! ”

“We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. The stunning views are worth the walk up the steep hill and the hosts who live upstairs were friendly and helpful taking us to and from the station at the beginning and end of our stay so we didn’t have to struggle with luggage. Although the apartment is close to the centre of town it is in a very quiet and peaceful location and we spent our evenings on the……

“From booking to arriving and then leaving the process was very easy. The chalet itself is stunning, photos I saw prior to arriving did not do the property justice. This is without a doubt the best property we have booked in Switzerland. Lauterbrunnen is stunning and has numerous restaurants and shops. Parking in town can be difficult, but there is a path across from the chalet that is a lovely cycle into town. I will book this again next year. ”
