“We stayed at the Garner Inn & Suites after a concert at the Surf Ballroom in nearby Clear Lake. It's about a 10 or 15 minute drive from Clear Lake, super easy, just down the highway. The Garner Inn is very comfortable and well appointed, actually nicer than you might expect to find in a small town. The breakfast included hot items like sausage and omelets, in addition to the expected items like a waffle machine and muffins and yogurt. Staff was very friendly.”

“3rd & Surf was exactly what my family and I needed. We were in town for the Midstates Horse Show in Mason City and it was nice to have a place to come relax after a few days in the hot sun. There was plenty of room for my family to spread out and have their own space. Molly & Brad were very responsive to our messages. “We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. ”
