“A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. “First time staying here for one night, check in was friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated but nice and clean also WiFi was good. Didn’t try the main restaurant in the evening but did have breakfast in morning of which was continental and it was good and staff were nice and pleasant. I would personally stay again ”

“Large house with plenty of rooms but apart from the odd door closing the only other noise was from the Minster hourly bells . We were in room 5 with a nice view over the park. Only negative was the bed was not comfy. But all in all a reasonable stay.”

“Friendly staff dog friendly can have your dog in the dinning room with you etc Didn’t hear a great deal of noise from downstairs in the pub once we we in our room But Saturday night the noise in the bar was was to much especially when you were trying to eat in dining room and talk with friends. Had to go out and sit in the beer garden to get away from the noise. Good location for what we wanted Easy to check in and out etc Nice size room ”
