We knew the home was older from the listing pictures but there was a key detail that was not mentioned or visible in the listing which is that the only shower in the home was a cast iron tub which had been converted into a shower. “This property was very eerie. There were no blinds on the windows, even in the bathrooms. The beds were poorly made, suggesting they were unclean. There was no bottled water in the fridge. The front door looked like it had been broken into at one point. The neighbors property is very unkept. I had to look for the lock box that wasn’t on the front door. It was in the top of the lantern, if my husband wasn’t 6’2 we would have had to find a stool or something to stand on to get the key out.……

“The ambiance was inviting, cozy, bright, and cheery. The house smelled wonderful, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch, enjoying the yard and view. Booking the property and access to the property was easy! The property is listed as tranquil. It is more like "trainquil" for those who like trains!”

“Red Bird Ranch was absolutely amazing! Celebrated a big birthday with my adult children and their spouses. It was awesome to have a well appointed house fully equipped with a pool table, an outdoor gas fireplace, a state-of-the-art grill and an outdoor fire pit. The second house with two bedrooms and a little living area was 20 steps away. It was a 25 minute drive in to Round Top where we went shopping and just enjoyed each other‘s company.
