“We had the pleasure of staying in the Pleasure Lake Retreat House. The home is situated on a small lake and has everything a group could ask for to keep entertained. It comfortably slept six people with room and beds to spare. There is a pool table, dart board, ping pong table, fishing poles, basketballs and a hoop and board games. We never got bored and would love to come back on our next visit to the area.”

“The house is beautiful with a great view of the water! Pictures on the posting made it look bigger than it actually was, so our group of 18 adults was a little crowded feeling! If you are considering booking, be sure it will accommodate your group size first! “Everything you would need for a weekend getaway I. The winter was here.The large dining room table was perfect for to craft, play games and have a meal together!The bed’s were very comfortable. Wish we could have had a bonfire but it was to windy but it was a perfect fire pit and lots of available wood.The hot tub was nice too.Thank you for sharing your home with use.”

“This new cabin in the woods was perfect for our recent golf trip in Central Wisconsin. Close to a number of great courses and casino. This new house was immaculate, comfortably furnished and well supplied. Deer and wildlife in the yard and quick walk to the lake. Host was lovely and easy to reach if needed.”

“The Depot is an amazing quaint and charming gem in the heart of Amherst. The property is newly renovated and very clean and peaceful. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you need to stay in Amherst this is the place to stay! Every little detail from the furnishing to the surroundings is excellent. Would highly recommend!”

Really loved the sitting area out by the fire. Only tiny negative is the basement floor must not be level (just how old houses are) cause rhe pool table isn't level. A tiny thing when you have all the other pluses!!! Would definitely stay here again! We loved that they had an old school Nintendo game for us to play!!! So much……

“Enjoyed my short fall get away at the family retreat on Silver Lake. The home was comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful view of lake. Great deck to further enjoy the view. Close to several great restaurants in the area. Even though it was windy and a couple of light showers on a couple of days, found it very relaxing to just sit, read and watch beautiful scenery of the lake and surrounding trees. ”

“Anthony was a very gracious host, and the house/property/amenities were above and beyond other VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. We had a very cozy stay in the middle of winter, and it was a treat to wake up to a sunrise over the frozen lake in the morning. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and we hope to come back someday to enjoy the kayaks.”
