“Truly one of a kind gem, set in a beautiful location. The house has all of the modern conveniences but has been maintained with care for the historic detail. ”

“Everything was as advertised. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. We never turned on the TV, but we did use our travel Bluetooth speaker. We chose the downstairs bedroom, even though it has the smaller bed, because the view out the windows is superior. Our dog loved the yard and chilling on the porch. The RV was not there during our stay, so all was quiet and private. It was just right for us!”

“We booked last minute and heard back quickly with clear instructions. Only thing that would have made it clearer is describing which door to use for baby bear or a sign on the door, but it was pretty easy to figure out. Others have said the place is updated, so even better than the pictures. It’s super and a perfect getaway for two. ”

“This is a beautiful big country cabin and the theme holds up through out. Only caution is it can be hard to find at night and there is no cell service in the area. Know exactly where you are going before you go. Also, make sure you see all fees before you book. I would stay there again if I had a larger group. ”

“Our 3-generation family had a relaxing stay surrounded by beauty. As other reviews have stated, the home is nestled among trees with the windows and deck facing the creek. Our two toddlers enjoyed the deck along with the adults, and our dogs loved running freely when we walked to the creek. The kitchen had ample cookware, plates, and glasses. The beds were comfortable. Beautiful scenery, lovely home, close to downtown ... our family had a fantastic stay.”

“This cabin was perfect! Lovely, comfortable, had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It's close enough to I-80 to be convenient but tucked far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the forest. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly, and communicative. This was exactly what we needed! Just wish we could have stayed longer.”

“Our stay at duck pond was just as wonderful as advertised. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything our family of four (adult to 6years old) needed. The property itself was serine and ruggedly well kept. The loft ladder was quite steep. So, not for anyone who may not be able to climb a vertical ladder or very young children. The kayak onsite was a nice touch but another PFD would have been nice. Overall duck pond was a 5 star for our family and would definitely rent again!”

“This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location! ”

“We were truly blown away by this little oasis in Nevada City. My husband and I stayed here with our baby and our dog while celebrating our anniversary and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the space. It was our first time visiting Nevada City and this was the perfect place to stay. It was literally a three minute walk into town, the whole place had doors opening out the deck and its gorgeous view, and the creek was absolute paradise. We loved being able to sit down there and soak in all……

“This was a quick trip. We were in town for a graduation. Great location. House was very clean and well stocked. We forgot to bring coffee and creamer and when we got there they had several bags of coffee to choose from with a large canister of sugar and assortment of creamers. Bathrooms had everything needed. We highly recommend this home”
