“The house is beautiful and well maintained. It is a fun opportunity to imagine life in one of these beautiful old homes from the 19th century. A wonderful breakfast was served Saturday and Sunday. “I must say, we really enjoyed our stay in East Dubuque. We only saw a couple of other guests. It was very quiet and clean. It is an older hotel in need of some TLC on the outside. They need to write some checks for some landscaping service and some carpentry repairs. Then the place would look more appealing from outside.”

“I found the surroundings rather unique.The hotel is nestled in a ravine So it felt secluded even though it was right along route twenty (Dodge avenue). I appreciated that we had a free breakfast, even though it was just a cold breakfast, I was disappointed because I was looking forward to some waffles. Front desk was very pleasant & accommodating.
