“We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quite the cottage had to offer. The porches surround three sides of the building nestled in the woods/mountains of TN. The personal touches and amenities offered by Diana and Mark made us feel at home and afforded us the rest and relaxation we desired. “The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. “We had an amazing stay! When we walked in, the house was spotless and so inviting, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our host was the definition of hospitality, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved hiking The Channels and attending the MLB Speedway Classic, even though the game got rained out the first time. Be sure to bring a vehicle that can handle the road leading up to the cabin. Although there is a wide spot where you can park and walk a bit. “Tucked just off the main road, Lil Blue is located just a less than 30 minute drive to the Bristol area and minutes away from Abingdon. We enjoyed the Bristol Caverns, Appalachian Caverns and Backyard Terror and Dinosaurs one day of our stay. Then as we drove home, various locations of The Virginia Creeper Trail. The house was stocked with plenty of essentials. The location is pretty quiet, inviting and relaxing; we enjoyed morning coffee on the back porch. The owners have a great personality,……

“This place was perfect for a weekend in Bristol! It was super cute, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. We had a minor dilemma that they fixed super fast and without any fuss. Unfortunately it was too hot out to play with any of the fun games in the backyard but we really enjoyed Ms. Packman! We would definitely stay here again!”
