“Almost Heaven is a beautiful, fully equipped cabin on an amazing property. So comfortable and the setting is lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property's pond and hiking trails. We absolutely loved the animals near the cabin, enjoyed being able to feed them, and the greeting from the resident pup. It would be paradise for children! ”

“Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is especially great for kids who are tired of being in the car after a long car drive. The cabin was clean, simple, peaceful, and homie. “We came down to go to Mammoth Cave. The property was great. Our son loved feeding the animals and using the playscape daily. The farm dog Lola is the best, she greeted us every morning and each night. It felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay again! ”

Enjoy the view of the peaceful outdoors and wildlife off the fully covered patio with comfortable lounging furniture. This VRBO is furnished with luxurious towels and bedding along with a washer/dryer so no need to take a trunk full of dirty clothes home. The owners are on the property as well so if there is any issues, which we did not, and very safe and secure with outdoor surveillance.……

“Nice fire pit in the back. Nice porch. Lots of games. Pretty much everything you need. King size bed up stairs is firm but comfortable. The only thing i have to say that wasn’t right was the web site i booked threw said it was 5 bedrooms. I was looking for 5 bedrooms because we had 2 in one bed, 3 in one bed and 3 need their own room. The property manager did the best she could and she was wonderful. My daughter come for 2 nights unexpectedly to add to the group. We made the laundry room into a……

“We love this cabin, its why we've booked it for the last several years. Always spotless, very comfortable beds, love, love the pool. The only downside to our stay is the biting insects outside. Would definitely recommend this place as A1.”

“We had a nice relaxing time at the Shandy Pine. Everything we needed to cook and grill was there. We wanted to kayak but the dock was damaged by recent flooding, and the other dock was kind of a haul, so we decided to rent a boat from a marina on the lake instead. We Definitely recommend that! The hot tub was also a great alternative. The kids and adults loved the game room! There were so many tiny details that made us feel right at home! Thank you for sharing your little slice of peace……
