“Beautiful cabin nestled near Mammoth Cave National Park and on a disc golf course. We loved the cabin and property, and we are not disc golf enthusiasts! You can walk the course, just watch out for flying discs. The owner is super friendly and helpful, though his assisatant Cody (the owner's dog) is the true star of the property. ”

“The house and accommodations are wonderful! I’m sure when there aren’t floods and high waters, the lake is beautiful too. My daughter loved the loft room that is spacious and great for a pre-teen! We had a couple of beautiful days to enjoy some cave tours and hiking at Mammoth Cave. The unfortunate flooding caused closures in the parks our last day. . We would definitely return!!”

“Area is great for fishing. Water was 30 feet above summer pool. If water was closer to normal depth, this part of the lake would be ideal for bass, crappie, catfish, and any panfish you might be fishing for.”

“This property is great to getaway from everything and enjoy some peace in nature. The only things keeping it from being an actual oasis are the lack of a comfortable king size bed in the master (the queen bed/mattress is not comfortable at all), the rest of the main floor furniture has seen better days, and the lack of furniture in places you expect it (no coffee table or table lamp in living room next to the chairs, no bedside table on the right side of the master bed, no chair or additional……

“We spent a wonderful weekend here with extended family and it was a perfect gathering place for our big crew with lots of kids. There was enough space for us to eat meals together and room for kids to play both inside and out. We also took the very short drive to Barren River state park to hike. ”

“This little place was exactly as advertised. Some nice charm to it!Like most little houses, don't expect much privacy from your travel mates, so unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but the hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of the day. If your neighbors are out at their fire pit during your stay, you'll likely want to give them a wave since it's rather close. Think of it like camping! Overall a very nice piece of property and great place to call home while visiting sites in……

“My husband and I stayed a few days with our teens and dog. The property is beautiful! We all enjoyed hiking over the 75 acres. The self made map was so helpful. Our tween daughter was our navigator on our hike and managed the map easily. Our dog loved the freedom of exploring with us. We did manage to make it to Mammoth Cave and it was a fun trip. Spent the rest of our short trip grilling and playing games. Definitely recommend! ”
