“Check in was quick and easy! Frank was very kind and thorough with giving us a map to find our way around the area. Did the mammoth cave tours and double j stables horseback riding! Beautiful location! ”

“We had a blast! The cabin was awesome, clean and met all our needs. My husband and I had the king room and the bed was very comfortable. We loved being able to pet and feed snacks to the animals. Boots, the cat, was the star of the show though. He checked on us every night while we sat around the fire. What a sweet cat! And the free firewood was an added bonus!The host was super friendly and answered all our questions quickly. We highly recommend this place and would come again.”

“Excellent location. Just minutes from Mammoth National Park. We were able to go back and forth to take breaks easily. Super clean and has everything you need to make meals. Laundry on site was very helpful to clean our clothes after hiking, cave tours and kayaking. You have privacy yet you are located close to everything (fast food/Walmart, etc. 15 minutes away). ”

“The house is adorable and just what we were looking for to get away for the weekend with grandparents before school starts. The house is so cute with an amazing outdoor space to enjoy the country. The hot tub and game room were a huge plus for the kids. We were close to Nolin lake (it was closed due to flooding) and we visited mammoth cave. Tyler gave recommendations for us to pivot our plans and gave excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. Overall a clean place to stay that is……

“Check in was simple. We received the instructions before the check in time. Kitchen had the essential pots and pans, etc. Beds were comfortable. Be aware that some of the beds are not separated from common areas so if some people stay up late it could keep others awake.Fire pit is a Solo stove and easy to use. Didn’t try to use the hot tub. ”

“Property was very clean. Private location with friendly neighbors. Nice view of Barren River Lake from back deck.I would rent this property again. Log cabin is decorated with antiques with a nice taste!”

“The property is beautiful, well appointed & clean. My only complaint is that I booked the location due to the listed 19 min proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park & found that it was a 40 minute drive. ”
