“We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. “What we expected. Clean, comfortable, helpful staff. Convenient location. Sargassum was way worse than expected creating an odor over entire area, but not much the condo could do about it. It was a problem on the Winward side of the entire island. ”

“This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Since the 1st time the new owners have added the Nauti Crab Bar. We enjoyed the activities and music at the bar. The food was also very good. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. We liked having the full kitchen to be able make some of our own meals. We would definitely stay here again.”

“This was our 3rd stay there. We love that it's small, quiet, and comfortable. All the staff are great and will help you out with most anything, including renting a golf cart or making reservations. The pool is small, but good for dipping in on hot days. Some might think the furnishing are a bit older, but we like how the condos feel like a home. The kitchens are well-equipped and super useful. Our favorite feature is the ocean-view deck. Great for relaxing and watching the world wander by.”

“Rosie the Office Manager was very helpful with changing our time for the water taxi. Ashanti the bartender made the best dirty banana I have ever enjoyed. Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island. ”

“Had a great time! Resort was beautiful! Staff was amazing! Location isnt too far from San Pedro or secret beach for nightlife/bars/food/beaches. The pool and pier were some of the most amazing spots to relax. Only complaint is that this time of year is when there are massive amounts of seaweed washing up on shore… but, nothing to do with the resorts abilities… ”

“Condo nice and clean, management team responsive, Edwin at bar great, pool great, locals were too. Great part of island. Some steps down to water would be good for kayak and paddle boards. Definitely will return.”
