“No hot water, called at 7pm and they said they would send someone in the morning. Went to turn the gas stove to warm up food, no gas..no one showed up in the morning. Called no answer, left message still waiting for them to call back... awful.”

“Great location, short walk to multiple beaches and 15 minute walk to the main strip. Very safe, very clean, amazing breakfast. The comments about waiting a bit for breakfast etc are valid, but it’s a vacation, typically you would wait under ten minutes. Would recommend to the hotel management to buy one more coffee machine or have a carafe of coffee, would increase table tuns decreasing wait times.”

“The water pressure of hot shower is so low in my room. The in room phone is not working. Staffs are friendly and helpful.”

“Everything is perfect. The reception welcome us and show the hotel amenities around and the the gentleman is so nice while I was checking out The breakfast time is a bit crowds because of the Oceanside tables but we sit there two days (staff there will try to arrange those tables for you) and the food is nice with many choices. Just one note when I leave a message through th QR code so they can deliver extra needs to the room, they did in the first time and miss the second message. 4.5 stars……

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel Alvor. The rooms were decent and a fair size. The hotel staff were accommodating and the spa was very relaxing. The restaurant on the property but I only ate breakfast there because it was included with my stay. The breakfast buffet was decent and the concentrated on healthier options. Only thing is you have to ask for more food where getting the food options from the kitchen. If you choose to stay here, it is a good idea to have a car. It is a bit of a walk……

“We had a fantastic family holiday here in September 2025. Great location on the edge of Praia da Rocha and a short walk from Praia do Vau. We love the family friendly atmosphere and accommodating nature of Portugal which made our trip with a 9 month old easier than we expected. The hotel is well styled and gives a sense of luxury the moment you step inside. Our room was perfect with plenty of space for a cot bed and playtime. The room was very quiet apart from a little traffic noise which can’t……
