“Location was good. Quality of food (breakfast & dinner) very good. Service from most, but not all of the staff. Carpet in hallways definitely needs replacing. For the price should not be charged $1.50 for each extra coffee pods. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to transport guests to town, as it was about 30 minute to walk there on the boardwalk. ”

“Staff was great, Samuel and Joao were very welcoming and informative, handling all questions professionally. The kitchen hours and communication regarding hours and meal options lacked, leaving issues for dining options. Would recommend for a quieter stay during high-season. Would have opted for something closer to town, as it was quiet in December. The walk to town took about 35 minutes. There is a beach a steep 6 minute walk away which was convenient. ”

“The resort location is near to the train station. It is convenient and the environment is very comfortable. The resort is very good for relaxation. One thing is needed to improve is lack of staff to manager the swimming pool.”

“Visited lags area 5 days, golf resort was 2.2 miles from lags waterfront, was a nice walk on every day via the cliffs or one of 3 routs I took, lots of scenery and history”

“We stayed three night in August 2021. This hotel is very close to marina, well maintained and comfortable. Room is spacious with nice bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a roof top swimming pool. It is convenient walking to downtown in 10-15 minutes. Breakfast is not included but I paid 9.5 euro for breakfast. The only reason I gave four star is due to its price, otherwise I will give 5 star.”

The only thing I would counsel about is that the hotel is 5 star but is already starting to show signs of use - peeling of the walls in our room etc. This is a shame and could be easily rectified, as could the poor reception on the tv. But this are minor issues - a wonderful place.”

“This was a lovely boutique hotel with many nooks and lovely places to sit and relax. Our room was charming with a terrace that overlooked red rooftops and the ocean. Breakfast was yummy. A great location in the old historic city and we walked everywhere. We will be back !”
