Seul bémol est l’eloignement de la route, il faut descendre 80m en marches, soit quelques 200 marches, un peu delicat avec les bagages, mais c’edt le principe même du sejour en montagne. “We loved the idea of staying in the mountains however, the property did not mention vital information like; there is no transport facilities at all, you have to hire a taxi through their tour company which charges 80€ each way to airport/Marrakesh. Also, we were told by Expedia that we’d have shared bathroom with another room however, there is 3 other rooms and whilst we were there, there was at least another 6 guests. No sink in the bathroom so we had to brush our teeth in the only sink in……

“This is a uniquely situated, rustic property, run by lovely people. You will get a real experience of deep Morocco in the High Atlas if you visit. The area is incredibly beautiful. A magical experience. But be aware - this hotel is situated off road. To get here you will need a high clearance SUV if conditions are good. If they are not, a 4x4. Punctures are likely, so make sure you have a spare, and can change a wheel. If it snows, you may not be able to get there (or back) at all. There is a……

“We had a wonderful stay at Chez Momo II. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and there is able patio space to relax and take in the surroundings. Food at the hotel was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. Staff was very easy to work with and accommodating. I would highly recommend going for a guided hike to the “top of the world”. Ask for a guide by the name of Mohammed to show you around. Highly recommend this area of Morocco and this hotel specifically. ”

“Beautiful room and pool. Easy walk to lake and village. Staff very friendly and willing to help but we would have appreciated some details in the room about organisational issues eg that water would not be replaced in the room but was readily available at the bar. Would definitely recommend hotel for a quiet, restful break.”
