“We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. We were so LUCKY it was available. The price was reasonable and we could immediately check in. So easy! Thank you to the host family who has placed this location on……

“My significant other and I had a beautiful stay at this unique cozy cabin! This was our home base while in the area exploring Acadia and we loved starting our day with views of the lake and coming back to enjoy relaxing by the firepit. Everything was as described and it was nice having our own private bathroom a few steps from the main cabin along with access to a washer and dryer to keep our laundry fresh after a week of traveling and camping. “We loved staying here at this cozy waterfront property. It was spacious and with a functional kitchen which was a plus! The location, although a bit away from Acadia, offered an escape from the busy-ness of Bar Harbor. The surroundings are serene with a lake just upfront. Overall a good experience. “We were in town for Husson University’s friends and family weekend. This was a perfect place to be! We easily drove to Husson yet had the peaceful view of the lake to relax with during down times. We played a lot of ping pong and Pac-man. I cannot wait to rent this house again! It was fantastic!! ”

“We loved staying here in fact wish we had booked it for longer! The views were wonderful. close to a grocery store and a 30ish minute drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia. Very private. Great place to stay when you want to be able to enjoy Acadia and Bar Harbor but also want peace and quiet. Definitely would recommend to anyone.”

“I love this house! It was very clean, the location is beautiful, the decor and the rugs are amazing. The rooms and the furniture are so accommodating for a comfortable stay. In the evenings after sightseeing all day, we had so much fun playing games in the basement or cards at the kitchen table. We greatly appreciate that there were ample supplies of all the necessities.
